Close to shopping

The room is close to shopping, bus station, and the ferry port to Valletta. The staff gave a good advice.

I got room number 0, which is on the first floor next to the entrance door. The room is not soundproof. There is noise around the room at night. The air conditioner is not very cool.

What was the highlight of Sliema Creek Suites

Great location

The hotel is in an exellent location, although it was a litle tricky to find because it was on a pedestrian street, up a short flight of stairs with minimal lighting, and the sign is fairly inconspicuous. We stayed in the penthouse and it was very comfortable. There are 2 terraces, but given the summer heat, we didn't really use them. The room has great amenities, including a washing machine, although no dryer. I read there is one in the basement, but I did not look for it since the heat of the day was enough to dry anything. Lots of late night food and drinks in the neighborhood and a small market very close by.

I had minor concerns about security. Both the terrace doors and the bathroom window did not lock proerly on the left side. You would likely need spiderman skills to access the room either way, but I live in a big city, so these are legitimate concerns for me. Also, access to the building is controlled by a digital code (sent by email), but I suspect that code is never changed. The room is accessed by a coded keybox, but keys can be copied and kept. It would be better if the rooms had changing digital access instead. These concerns aside, the rest was fine.

Very Good

Location was excellent. Clean and compact apartment with modern style.

Sheets on the bed did not go the end of the mattress. The sheet would move and rumple up each night which wasn’t comfortable. The shower was very small. A big person would struggle to use it.

Wonderful

It was very comfy and well equipped we have found everything that we need (fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses) even an adapter for the plug which was super helpful. The small kitchen was so useful we were very happy that we had the opportunity to have a breakfast inside. There is a laundry at the -1 floor, we did not checket it but I think its brilliant to have an opportunity for that too.

It could have been a bit cleaner, and having a one ply toilet paper nowadays is a bit annoying, but all in all a great place.

Good location. Practical choice.

Nice spot. Lovely balcony terraces. Incredible air con. Hot showers.

Mega humid at time of visit so very difficult to dry things… but the towels were smelly and old… even when asked for new ones. Musty damp smell.
